earn LESS but happier

it has been a tough time looking for a suitable job!but atlast, i got one. pretty much suitable & flexible. the people i got to know are friendly and helpful. i am a 'freshie' in this line. though the main 'thing' was sales. there are still many more to learn. my schedule are well organised by my manager; thanks Winnie. i will not earn as much as i do like my previous job. but if you were ask me to choose between 2; 1) Earn more and being unhappy OR 2) Earn lesser but happier i rather go for No.2. i dont see the point working in a 'dead' environment like my previous job. where everyone is doing their own stuff, concentrating & being in silence for almost to 8 -10hrs then when luck is not on your side, you get fark from your boss for no reasons out of a sudden; thats not i want in my job, yes, for now i may be working just to support myself. but a job is a job, i am working for a decent pay and i expect to be respected equally. same applies to my future career. my colleague says, "over here, nothing is so strict, you can joke, you can laugh, you can have fun BUT as long as work are properly handled & managed, no one have the right to scold you. over here we learnt, we apply and we dont teach & scold. thats us" thats for sure is nice to hear and i look forward to going to work each day. how much ill earn is not the question but what i learnt & who i meet is what lighten up my everyday. |
