office politics

office politics..heard of them??umph..a little too common?well, it IS.can never run from that neither can you escape from it. right? hah! for me..i am pretty much too used to office politics at even such a young age. neither do i love it nor i hate it.the latter, maybe, a little. =S ok-ok..how about fiery bosses? colleagues who have no iniative? etc? it's pretty too common here in S'pore. dont you think so? well, i always dream of.. beautiful cosy environment.. nice colleagues.. loving bosses.. perfect management.. but i really think non of the office in Singapore carry the 'all-in-one' package. you get what i mean? maybe yes..most of it..but ALL of it? any? till i meet & experience one..someday..i hope..=)) it was pretty hectic & 'cold' in the office earlier today. my boss was in a very good mood i should say.. but not till almost 2pm when he got a tender meeting to go.. thats when the 'volcano' erupted! haha! thanks to my colleagues who dont know how to 'read' my boss. dont even mention of understanding him.. they just regard him as a boss & thats' that! me? as a P.A. i have to know & understand him. this is really crucial. i'm the closest to him & my job in the office is to understand all the individual characters. there's a saying that goes.. "dont work blindly cause you will never learn" heard it before? *winks* gladly. i am so-called the comfort zone in the office. i never like to see my colleagues in a bad mood. i always find ways to bring back the smile in them. well, cause clearly, office tiff do happen once in awhile. so, when its there, its there, but when its over, it will never be mention again. be wise. thats all. dont take things to heart. when my boss gets mad, its only work issue. he will never bring it to heart, to the next day, to days later or what-so-ever. he's nice. but only after you know him well. fine, enough said about work. hah! getting lame. geez. now. how about boys? heh! men? fun rite? *giggles* i finally open my heart. i am willing to make friends. it's only the start but im having some difficulties handling men. like i ever said before, 'MARS' are just unique people. they have 1001 characters..1001 reasons.. they will never run out of excuses. at times dey are just hard to tolerate. still, at times, dey are the ones we yearn the most. weird. on a good note. i love my parents. i realise i get closer to them as i grow older. i was like telling mum the other day.. "mum, can i not get married, i wanna stay with u & dad forever" she smiles & kiss me. its just a saying; of course, i need to have my own family. . . but, i wish for that upon a star. really. gd night. |
