zombie-fied ME

It is exactly 12 days more to Hari Raya. The excitement can be felt by all Muslim. I was up till late last night. I bring mum to Geylang bazaar to get some groceries so that she can start making her 'kueh'. It is the long awaited moment, i love my mum's baking so much. All her kueh taste perfect! I had a conversation with my colleague few days back, it is true enough that while our mums are around, we should really learn cooking from her. No other person can ever cook like how our mum did. We should really master the skill and get her 'secret' recipe. I agree to the fact, i do tell mum that i will like to master her cooking skills but i lack of time to even watch her cook. She always says to me that 'cooking is the easiest thing on earth'. Hah! Well probably because of the fact she has been doing 'hands-on' at the tender age of 16, 17 years old perhaps? For our generation, at the age of 16, 17 years old, we are either out there working or still in college. Our future plans starts real early. For whatever it takes, i still will learn how to cook soon after i am done with uni. ..... It is a bright Saturday morning, i am off duty from work but i have school at 1.30pm. This term modules are super tough. I can't afford to miss a lesson. No matter how tired i am, i will drag my feet to school. In class i am like a super zombie. I jot down what my lecturer teach but i doubt it is store in my brain. Sigh. Could i ever survive?? TIme for school..Good-the-BYE!~ ![]() |
